What people say about us

  • "Wow, what a cool twist on a British brunch! Absolutely loved this place. The chefs are so creative, the food was delicious and the staff are super friendly. I’d highly recommend the lucky hoops and spiced pumpkin and cashew pie. Just heavenly comfort food."

  • "We’ve had 4 delicious meals here. Leave here buzzing every time. Stand out dishes, fennel, pepper pie and baked celeriac. Will pop in again soon. Great price for the quality and lovely service."

  • "Incredible British food in a local neighbourhood caff. We had Rarebit, Lucky Hoops, and the Ham Egg and Duck Fat Potatoes. The atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely - we especially appreciated the offer of a high-chair for our little one. A comforting and nostalgia-inducing spot. We'll be back."

  • "The service was warm and welcoming, menu explained and dishes described perfectly. All the food was so yummy, my favourites being the pork rillettes, Glamorgan sausages, poached pear + chocolate and beetroot torte. I love that the portion sizes are slightly smaller here so you can enjoy starter, main and dessert without feeling ridiculously stuffed and at a great price too. Definitely one of my favourite Bedminster spots"

  • "I ate with friends one evening and we all enjoyed the food, it’s a regularly changing menu of English classics with a contemporary twist. The 70’s ambience couldn’t be better. This place is fabulous and I’m looking forward to the next visit."

  • "Love this place. We live locally so we've been a handful of times now, both for brunch and dinner. The food is great and pretty unusual, you're often trying something you've never had before, I think they take inspiration from traditional dishes from the British isles. The cocktails are fantastic (would personally recommend the amaretto sour!) and the general atmosphere and decoration is really nice. Tom (the owner and front of house) is lovely and service is top class."
